Last One For Tonight!

I should have loaded this layout as my second because it was taken the same night that my Pookie proposed. (Yes my pet name for Tito is Pookie- I use it way too often lol.) After he proposed we had an amazing dinner at the restaurant he took me to on our first date. We decided to join a few of our friends afterwards and this was the outcome!

I began creating this layout using Color Palette #3 from The Color Room but then totally veered off the path lol

Embossing!!!! Another first for me!! I think next time I should highlight it with embossing inks?

Unloading!

I'm back!

I created three LO's but I couldn't find Titos camera to post them, so now I'm taking advantage and posting them all at the same time =)

I created this layout using sketch #98 from Creative Scrappers:

I must say that this LO was EXTREMELY fun and the sketch just perfect for my purpose. Tito and I had a sort of 'engagement party' so that our closest friends could share this special moment with us. I thought I should make a page exclusively to showcase them. This sketch was great because I love the "Friends are like Stars" quote and was happy to put it into use.

As you will quickly find out, I always try to fit as many pictures into a LO as I possibly can. I thought it would be fun to make a mini album! You can flip this page over and there are two more pics of the rest of our friends =)

TFL!

Better Late Than Never!

Hello Everyone!

I guess I should start off with some kind of introduction- I actually created this blog to document my transition from New York to Puerto Rico BUT that didnt quite happen. I moved down here on December 2, 2009. This has been such a learning experience! I have decided to continue my scrapbooking hobby and document my time in PR in that manner =)

Enjoy.

I created this layout using the April 15, 2010 sketch from Creative Scrappers:

This picture was taken on Sept. 9 2009. My (at the time boyfriend) Tito had already moved to Puerto Rico and I was debating over making the move myself. He went up to New York for my birthday and surprised me by proposing in Central Park where we had our first date!

This was my first time stitching, so please- be gentle!
